January 2021: installation of a new scanner

We have acquired a new scanner. The new device offers the following advantages:

improved quality :

• significant reduction of the dose of radiation to which the patient is exposed
• software for metallic artefact reduction (prostheses, for example)
• a scope to follow the needle’s progress live during CT-guided infiltration
• a wider, more spacious tunnel for claustrophobic patients.
